Rapid change in Swaziland

Yesterday: image of brutal Swaziland Police and Correctional Services members stomping on  demonstrator during the April 12 Swazi rebellion. On the ground a lone protester is at the mercy of baton-wielding police. Emotive image used and spread globally, proof of cruel Swazi regime. Wait, there's more!!!

Today: 24hr later. A photo taken at the same corner of Nkoseluhlaza Street. Scene is somewhat different. In contrast to what blind commentators say change looks to happen very rapidly in Swaziland.

From mayhem and chaos its now quiet and peaceful, and WOW......... even the chicken franchise 'Wild Wingz' has taken flight. Today its called 'Futis'.

Global observers you are being served selective truths and many downright lies.

While we in Swaziland do not condone police brutality, what we dislike much further is foreigners portraying us in a bad light. In Manzini we know very well that Wild Wingz closed down more than a year back. That picture is historic and it is purely sensationalism on the part of those trying to stimulate a rebellion here, pleading for the world to intervene in their cause based on these images.
